Charles Hardin

Charles A. Hardin, 83, of Harrodsburg, husband of  Elizabeth M. Robinson Hardin, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born Jan. 12, 1929 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late A. W. and Betsy Currens Hardin.  He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired Corning Glass employee. He was a member of the St. Andrew Catholic Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Kym Hardin of Harrodsburg and a niece, Jolene Phillips. 

He was preceded in death by two brothers,  Edward and Thurman Hardin.
