William Linton

William Lee Linton Jr., 66, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 at his residence.

Born Dec. 6, 1945 in Harrodsburg, he was the son of Virginia Jones and the late William Lee Linton Sr.  He attended Harrodsburg schools, was a retired Hallmack Corporation employee and a member of the Bluegrass Pike Baptist Church in Danville.

Survivors in addition to his mother include nine sisters, Lucretia Kirk, of Louisville, Gertrude Cowherd, Virginia Combs, Debra Miles, Carol Peyton and Pamela Sweat, all of Lexington, Patricia Penix of Harrodsburg, Donna Hocker of  Lancaster and Hattie Evans of Lafollette, Tenn.;  two brothers, Douglas Peyton of Elizabethtown and Albert Linton of Dayton, Ohio and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
