Patricia Cole

Patricia “Pat” Stange Cole, 88, of Louisville, widow of William Roy Cole Jr., died Sept 27, 2012. 

Born in Toronto, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Augusta Stange and raised in Winnetka, Ill, was a graduate of New Trier High School in Winnetka and attended Centre College and graduated from Northwestern University where she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a flight attendant for Trans World Airlines, a kindergarten teacher at St. Francis School in Goshen and worked at Tweed and Tartan. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church  where she served as a Stephen’s Minister, Sunday school teacher, PW Circle Chair and as a deacon and elder. She was a member of the American Needlepoint Guild, Louisville Woman’s Club and the Northfield Garden Club. 

Survivors include one son, William R. (Liz) Cole III of Louisville; two daughters, Catherine Cole Irvin of Tallahassee, Fla. and Patricia Cole (Steve) Milner of Lexington; eight grandchildren three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
