William Clouse

William Rickey “Rick” Clouse, 65, of Salvisa, husband of Linda Lou Hinton Clouse, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Nov. 14, 1946, in Lexington, he was the son of the late William Levi and Emma Jean Clark Clouse.  He was raised by his father and stepmother, Ruth Means Clouse of Jeffersonville. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran, a drywaller, auto worker and former manager of a thoroughbred horse farm in the Lexington areaand was the owner of Trophy Works in Morehead. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include four sons, Robert Jefferson Clouse and Timmy (Kim) Childers, both of Lexington; Wayne  (Martina) Stevens of Bluff City, Tenn. and Jason Stevens of Salvisa; one daughter, Kimberly (Paul) Roman of Morehead; three brothers, Paul (Judy) Pugh of Lexington, Tommy O’Brien of Cleveland, Ohio and Donald Clouse of Jeffersonville; four sisters, Mattie (Larry Wagel) Sims of Brooksville, Pam Clouse of Versailles,  Debbie (Jack) Howell of Willisburg and Teresa (Victor) Angel of Cleveland, Ohio; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
