Sam Devine

Sam M. Devine, 69, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  

Born April 30, 1943 in Mercer County, he was the son of the late William Ansle and Margie Harmon Divine.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator having worked in blacktopping and construction.

Survivors include one son, Chris Devine of Stanford;  one daughter, Betsy (Lonnie) Hill of Gravel Switch; one brother, Billy Devine of California; two sisters, Lillian Long and Norma Keesecker, both of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
