Edmund Burrus “E.B.” Miller Jr., 94, widower of Ruth Bryant Miller, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Mayfair Manor in Lexington.
Born in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Edmund Burrus Sr. and Edna Nelson Miller. He was a WWII veteran serving in the US Army, the former owner of Colonial Hill Farm and a graduate of the University of Kentucky, obtaining both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Agriculture. He was an educator in agriculture for the Veterans Administration and Mercer County High School. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he served as usher and Sunday school teacher of the “Seekers” class.
He is survived by his daughter, Norma Burrus Miller of Lexington.
