William Collins

William Wesley Collins, 79, of Harrodsburg, husband of Corena LaRose Collins, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Born May 10, 1933, in Midway, he was the son of the late Alvis B. Collins and Majorie Ethel Stanley Collins. He was a retired roofer and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lexington. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include one son, William W. Collins Jr. of Mercer County; one daughter, Eva Collins of Versailles; one stepdaughter, Teresa Baker of Lexington; one brother, Alvis Collins and one sister, Alice Gross, both of Lexington; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
