WINIFRED CARPENTER

Winifred Ann Carpenter, 87, died Sept. 1, 2012 in Lexington.

Born Aug. 11, 1925 to the late Denver & Virginia Carter, she was a retired assembly line worker for Certified Brake and a member of South Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son: Charles (Kay) Carpenter of Harrodsburg; one daughter: Donna (Gary) Carpenter Scott of Mackville; two sisters: Hilda  Whalen of Versailles and Charlotee Carrier of Georgetown; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren and several nieces and  nephews.
