POCAHONTAS WALKER

Pocahontas Bradshaw “Pokey” Walker, 72, widow of James Thomas Walker, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012 at the Harrodsburg Health Care Center.  

Born April 4, 1940 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late John Price J.P. Dunn and Pauline Bradshaw Dunn.  She was a graduate of Burgin High School and was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church and Ellers Memorial Baptist Church.  

Survivors include three sisters: Doris (Truman) Bartleson, and Maureen “Sissy” Dunn both of Harrodsburg and Sheila Dunn Reynolds of Winston-Salem, N.C..  and several nieces and nephews.
