David Rice

David Julian Rice, 76, widower of the late Ada McKinney Rice, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012. 

Born in Woodford County on April 16, 1936, he was the son of the late Howard and Cordie Rice. He was the owner and operator for R&R Construction and a veteran of the U.S. Army. 

He is survived by his children, David (Rebecca) Rice Jr. of Versailles; Justus Howard Rice and Patrick (Sue) Rice, both of Harrodsburg; Jamie (Doug) Darland of Salvisa; Rubena (Mitchell) Searcy, Sherry (Bret) Royalty and Jennifer (Kevin) Bugg, all of Harrodsurg  and Rebecca (Jeff) Oliver of Berea;  21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
