Quentin Gaskin

Quentin Gaskin, 87, of Harrodsburg, husband of Ruth Miller Gaskin, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. 

Born Dec. 26, 1924 in Jabez, he was the son of the late C.A. and Opal Johnson Gaskin. He graduated from Somerset High School in 1941 and joined the U.S. Air Force. He attended the University of Kentucky, graduating in 1950 with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering. He was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for 50 years and served as a Senior Deacon. 

Survivors in addition to his wife include a daughter, Kay Gaskin Miller of Stanley, Va. and two grandchildren, Emily Craig (Jimmy) Mueller of Louisville and Lindsey Robin Miller of Winchester, Va.
