Myrtle Gibson

Myrtle Gibson, 92, widow of Ranie Adkinson and Raymond Gibson died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012 at the Charleston Health Care Manor in Danville. 

Born Sept. 29, 1919, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Gertie Tyler Camden. She was the bookkeeper for The Harrodsburg Herald for many years and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. 

Survivors include a son, Lee (Janet) Adkinson of Texas; a daughter, Janyce Brothers of Harrodsburg; five step children: Maggie (Bob) Bunton of Versailles, Mildred (Herbert) Sharp of Lancaster, Linda (Calvin) Gibson of Perryville, Roger (Phyllis) Gibson of Danville and Dennis (Emily) Gibson of Bradfordsville, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
