Barbara Stringfield

Barbara Terry Stringfield, 65, widow of Billy Stringfield, died Sunday, July 29, 2012 at her residence.  

Born Nov. 25, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Novel Spivey Shaffer of Nicholasville and the late Earl Howard Brinegar. She was the owner of the Village Inn Restaurant in Burgin, a member of WMLRA National Muzzleloader Rifle Association and was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church.  

Survivors include a son; David (Tina) Hitchner of Danville; four daughters; Kimberly Hitchner and Samantha (Chad) Young, both of Harrodsburg, Holly (Michael) Pilgrim and Barbara (J.D.) Snow, both of Danville; three brothers, “Earl” Buddy (Greer) Brinegar of Lexington, Robert Brinegar of Richmond and Eddie Brinegar of Nicholasville; a sister, Patricia Fair, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
