Donald Brown

Donald Bruce Brown, 71, husband of Ruth Esther Turner Brown, died Friday, July 13, 2012 in Lexington. 

Born Nov. 12, 1940 in Burgin, he was a 1958 graduate of Burgin High School. He was a retired electrician with Corning Inc. He served as a firefighter with the Burgin Fire Department for 49 years of which 36 he served as Chief. He was a member of  the Burgin United Methodist Church.

Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Mary Janet (Robert) Nixon of Nicholasville, Donna Ruth Brown of Sorrento, Fla. and Lynda Bruce Brown of Science Hill; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
