Thelma Long

Thelma Nichols Long, 83, of Harrodsburg, died Sunday, May 6, 2012, at The James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 9, 1928 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Blanche (Prather) Nichols. She was a retired nurse at Kentucky State Hospital. She played the piano and organ for many years at the Harrodsburg Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was active with the Nicaraguan Prison Ministry.

Survivors include two granddaughters, Leslie Long of Harrodsburg and Megan Morris of Lexington and a great-grandchild, Cheyenne Morris.
