Hazel Ruth Long

Hazel Ruth Long, 93, of Harrodsburg, widow of Richard Carl McMullin and Clyde Long, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in Louisville.  

Born March 26, 1919, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Newton Bradley and Ovie Purdom Bradley.  She was a homemaker and was employed by Genesco and Eaton Corporations.  She was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and had been a member of Deep Creek, Mackville and Mt. Freedom Baptist Churches where she taught Sunday School and sang in their choirs.  She had been a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church WMU.  

Survivors include one daughter,  Lillie Dale McMullin Shannon;  one sister-in-law, Susie McMullin Majeske; one brother-in-law, Sylvester McCrystal and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
