Brenda McCrystal

Brenda McCrystal, 67, of Somerset, formerly of Harrodsburg, wife of Harold F. “Buddy” McCrystal, Sr., died Sunday, April 8, 2012. 

Born July 24, 1944 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Willa Lewis Shirley.

Survivors in addition to her husband include four daughters, Katie Elizabeth (Mike) Warner of Mt. Sterling,  Leann (Nick) Disney of Corbin, Valerie McCrystal of Danville and Lana McCrystal of Somerset; two sons, Harold F. “Bubba” (Melissa) McCrystal, Jr. of Somerset and Floyd Michael McCrystal of Somerset; one sister, Jane (Darrell) Pinkston of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Floyd “Buddy” (Lee) Shirley of Harrodsburg and David (Rita) Shirley of Mt. Washington; sister-in-law, Flora Alice (Bill) Montgomery of Harrodsburg; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
