Irene Kone Hambright

M. Irene Kone Hambright, 88, of Bellefonte, Penn., widow of Jake Hambright, died March 28, 2012. 

Born, April 10, 1923 in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late McKinley and Martha B. Anness. She was a member of the Circle Six and Friendship Class at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in State College, Penn. and the church’s bible study and prayer group.

She is survived by four daughters, Sherry (Rick) Horn of Cogan Station, Penn.; Martha (Tom) Kone Capparelle of Bellefonte, Penn.; Jane (Jim Lynch) Kone of Howard, Penn. and Tracey (Alan) Leitzell of Bellefonte, Penn.; a step son, Joe (Barb) Hambright of Florida; one sister, Rosa (Sherman) Votaw of Valdosta, Ga. and a brother, McKinley (Margaret) Anness, Jr. of Harrodsburg; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
