Lady Titans Edge Out Casey County

The Lady Titans tennis team just edged out the Lady Rebels of Casey County in Monday’s match. 

Mercer and Casey County were tied at three all after  six singles matches. The teams split two of the three doubles matches leaving the match to be decided by their number one seeded doubles team. 

It was Mercer’s Christy Ingram and Erin Pigman who came out on top, winning in extra sets, 9-7, giving the Lady Titans their second win of the season, 5-4.

5. (C.C.) Chelsey Lynn defeated (M.C.) Mary Baxter, 8-6.

6. (C.C.) Madison Lee defeated (M.C.) Sarah Walker, 8-5.
