The Bulldogs (0-2) suffered another loss Tuesday night in the teams home opener against the Golden Lions of Garrard County. After holding a small lead early in the game, Burgin was unable to keep pace with the Golden Lions defense who got the win, 10-1.

Myers drove in the Bulldogs only run in the bottom of the first inning on a single over the shortstops head, putting Burgin on top, 1-0.

After getting out of another jam in the third inning Harrison gave up two runs in the top of the fourth inning giving Garrard the lead, 2-1. The Golden Lions added three runs in the fifth innin, three in sixth and two more in the seventh getting the win, 10-1.

The Bulldogs return to action Saturday, March 24 when they take on the Rebels of Casey County (0-2) on the road at 12 p.m.
