Billie Sue Shirley

Billie Sue Shirley, 62, of Waynesboro, Miss., formerly of Harrodsburg, wife of Steve Shirley, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her residence. 

She was the daughter of the late J.B and Rubye Payne Smithey. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Waynesboro, worked as a teacher’s assistant at Lighthouse Christian Academy and was a homemaker.  She was a graduate of Burgin High School. 

Survivors in addition to her husband include one son, Stephen Trevor (Elizabeth) Shirley of Waynesboro, Miss.; one daughter, Brandy Marie Edwards of Waynesboro, Miss.; two sisters, Jeanette Milburn and Betty Jo Sanders, both of Harrodsburg; two half-sisters, Melanie Smithey of Ohio and Jennifer Smithey of North Carolina and four grandchildren
