Glenda Blevins

Glenda Rae Blevins, 61 of Waynesburg, widow of Robert Blevins, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.  

Born Jan. 29, 1951, she was the daughter of Charles Homer  and Elise Evelene Chandler Ball.

She will be remembered for her loving nature and as a wonderful mother and grandmother.  She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, was a training manger for Dollar General Stores and the manager of the Mt. Vernon Dollar General Store.

She is survived by three sons, Robert “Bob” Blevins of Pendleton, Ind., Charles Michael (Katie) Morgan of Science Hill and David Justin Blevins of Waynesburg; two daughters, Ida Ellen (Allen) Roberts of Harrodsburg and Stephanie Lynn (Patrick) Olson of Bemidji, Minn.; two brothers, Michael Ball of Anderson, Ind. and Victor Ball of Waynesburg; a sister, Sharon (Lonnie) Gooch of Eubank and three grandchildren, Corey Morgan, Gabriel Creech and Leopold Morgan.
