Laura Springate

Mrs. Laura Patterson Springate, 88, widow of Paul Springate, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. 

Born July 3, 1923 in Mercer County,  she was the daughter of the late Charles T. and Mabel Davenport Patterson.  She was a former employee of Cricketeer, a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary, Hopewell Baptist Church and Harrodsburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Jack C. (Susan) Springate of Harrodsburg and one daughter, Judy (R.C) Sanders of Palm Coast, Fla.; four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
