Garnetta S. Egbert, 79, of Salvisa, Widow of Reuben Egbert Jr., died Monday, April 16, 2012 at her residence.

Born Dec. 29, 1932 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Laura Scott Winkle Adams. She was a retired PCT at Harrodsburg Health Care Center, had been employed at Eaton and was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Profitt and Deborah (Wathan) Bottom, both of Harrodsburg; a son, Mike Egbert of Salvisa;  a sister, Louise Webb of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Travis (Kay) Profitt and Brittany and Alexandria Bottom; two great-grandchildren, Corban and Elijah Profitt and several nieces and nephews.
